Okra Patties

Ingredients
1 pound okra, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup water
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup cornmeal

Directions
