Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

    1. In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy, approximately 2 minutes.
    2. Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl. Mix on low speed until all ingredients are well combined.
    3. Once combined, increase the mixer speed to high and beat for 3 minutes until the frosting is smooth and fluffy.
    4. Depending on your desired consistency, adjust by adding more powdered sugar for a thicker frosting or more cream for a thinner consistency.
    5. Spread or pipe the frosting onto your desired dessert and enjoy!
