1 lb ground beef (85/15 or leaner)

½ cup beef broth (or water)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp brown sugar (optional, for a hint of sweetness)

6 hamburger buns

Chopped onions, pickles, and mustard (for serving, optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up into small crumbles. Do not drain the fat (unless using very fatty beef).

2️⃣ Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and brown sugar.

3️⃣ Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the liquid is mostly absorbed. The beef should be moist but not soupy.

4️⃣ Toast the hamburger buns lightly for extra flavor (optional).

5️⃣ Spoon the loose meat mixture onto the buns and top with mustard, onions, and pickles if desired.

6️⃣ Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Maid-Rite sandwich!
