🥪 Slow Cooker Chicken Philly Sandwiches – Easy & Flavorful!
These Slow Cooker Chicken Philly Sandwiches are packed with tender, juicy chicken, melted cheese, and sautéed peppers & onions, all piled onto a toasty hoagie roll. Perfect for busy nights or game day—just set it and forget it!
Ingredients:
✔ 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
✔ 1 small onion, sliced
✔ 1 green bell pepper, sliced
✔ 1 red bell pepper, sliced
✔ 2 cloves garlic, minced
✔ 1 packet (1 oz) dry Italian dressing mix
✔ 1 cup chicken broth
✔ 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
✔ ½ tsp black pepper
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ ½ tsp garlic powder
✔ ½ tsp onion powder
✔ 6 slices provolone cheese
✔ 6 hoagie rolls
✔ 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns, optional)
🔥 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Place chicken in the slow cooker. Add onions, bell peppers, garlic, Italian dressing mix, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
2️⃣ Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
3️⃣ Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the juices.
4️⃣ Toast hoagie rolls with butter on a skillet (optional but delicious!).
