Salted Caramel Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients:

4 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
11 oz package Kraft caramels, unwrapped
2 tablespoons milk
Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:

Prepare a 9×13-inch glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Place the butter and marshmallows in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds until the marshmallows are melted and puffed up; stir until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies and the marshmallow mixture. Scoop the mixture into the prepared glass baking dish and press down evenly.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels and the milk. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Stir until completely smooth. If needed, continue heating in 10-second increments, stirring between each, until the caramel is fully melted.
Pour the melted caramel sauce over the Rice Krispies treats. Sprinkle the top with coarse sea salt. Set aside for 15 minutes to set.
Cut into 16 bars and serve.
