1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground cloves
8 slices of thick bread
2 tbsp butter, for cooking
For the Homemade Pumpkin Syrup:

1 cup maple syrup
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground cloves
Directions:

Prepare the French Toast Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Cook the French Toast:

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
Cook the bread slices in the skillet until they are golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Add more butter to the skillet as needed.
Make the Pumpkin Syrup:

In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is warm and well blended.
