PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SLOPPY JOES

PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SLOPPY JOES 😍😍

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef
1 yellow onion, finely diced
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup A-1 Steak Sauce
1 teaspoon steak seasoning
Sliced provolone cheese
Hamburger buns, sliders, etc.
Instructions:

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the ground beef with the diced onion, chopped green pepper, and salt until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Stir the cornstarch into the beef mixture, coating the meat evenly. Add the beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens. It will continue to thicken off the heat.
While the meat is simmering, set your oven to broil. Place the buns on a cookie sheet and butter each one. Broil for just a few minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
When the meat mixture is done, use a slotted spoon to scoop it onto the bottom halves of the buns. Place a slice of provolone cheese on each top bun and broil for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted.
Place the top bun with melted cheese on the bottom bun with the Philly cheesesteak meat. Serve warm and enjoy!
