Pecan Pie Dip Recipe
Ingredients
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional, for added texture)
• Graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels (for serving)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Base:
• In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter. Using an electric mixer, beat them together until smooth and creamy.
2. Add Sugars:
• Gradually add the powdered sugar and brown sugar to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on low speed until the sugars are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
3. Incorporate Flavor:
• Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined. If you’re using chopped pecans, fold them into the dip at this stage for added crunch.
4. Chill (Optional):
• For a firmer dip, you can refrigerate it for about 30 minutes before serving, but it can also be served immediately.
5. Serve:
• Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with additional chopped pecans if desired. Serve with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels for dipping.
