Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Bomb Quesadillas
Ingredients:
4 large flour tortillas
1/2 lb ground beef
4 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp butter, for cooking
Optional toppings: lettuce, pickles, diced tomatoes
Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the maple syrup and chopped bacon to the skillet, stirring to combine. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and ketchup to create a simple sauce.
Lay a tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a spoonful of the sauce over half of the tortilla. Add a portion of the beef and bacon mixture, then sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
Fold the tortilla over to create a half-moon shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter. Place a folded quesadilla in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining quesadillas.
Slice each quesadilla into wedges and serve warm, optionally with lettuce, pickles, and diced tomatoes for added flavor.
