Ingredients
•3 large eggs, separated
•½ cup cottage cheese, blended until smooth
•¼ tsp cream of tartar (for stability)
•½ tsp baking powder
•½ tsp salt (optional)
Instructions
1.Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.Whip the Egg Whites – In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
3. Prepare the Batter – In another bowl, mix the egg yolks, blended cottage cheese, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
4.Fold Gently – Carefully fold the egg white mixture into the yolk mixture, being careful not to deflate the batter.
5.Shape & Bake – Spoon the batter onto the baking sheet, forming small round “bread” pieces. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and set.
6.Cool & Enjoy – Let cool before serving. Use as a bread alternative for sandwiches, spreads, or just eat it as a light snack!
