Ingredients
•1 ½ lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or chuck), cut into bite-sized pieces
•4 large russet potatoes, diced
•1 small onion, chopped
•1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
•6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1 tsp onion powder
•1 tsp smoked paprika
•½ tsp salt (or to taste)
•½ tsp black pepper
•1 cup heavy cream or sour cream
•½ cup beef broth
•2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
•2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
1.Prepare the Crockpot – Lightly grease your slow cooker with cooking spray.
2. Layer Ingredients
•Add half of the diced potatoes to the crockpot.
•Layer half of the steak on top.
•Sprinkle with half the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
•Add half of the cheese and bacon.
•Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
3.Pour in Liquids – Drizzle beef broth and heavy cream (or sour cream) evenly over everything. Dot with butter pieces.
4.Cook Low & Slow – Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender and steak is juicy.
