Ingredients:
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Mix in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Set aside.
In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Beat in egg yolk and 1 tsp vanilla extract until fluffy.
Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
