Cheeseburger Casserole

Hearty Cheeseburger Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, diced finely
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp chili powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 (15 oz) can petite diced tomatoes
2 cups water
3 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups large elbow macaroni, dried
1 cup sour cream
¼ cup whole milk
1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tbsp dried parsley
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare beef bouillon broth by microwaving water and bouillon cubes for 4 minutes.
Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add onion, salt, pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and chili powder. Cook until onions are soft.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes.
Add elbow macaroni and prepared broth. Simmer covered for 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Stir in sour cream and milk.
Layer half of the beef mixture in a 9×13 baking dish, sprinkle with half of the cheeses. Add remaining beef mixture and top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
