Originating from South America, likely Brazil or Venezuela, this cake combines rich coconut flavors with a unique preparation method that sets it apart from traditional cake recipes. Instead of the typical creaming of butter and sugar, this recipe utilizes a simple one-minute blending technique, making it accessible for bakers of all skill levels.

This cake is characterized by its dense and moist texture, reminiscent of flan but with a firmer consistency. The ingredients include sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, coconut milk, and a blend of flour and sugar, creating a rich flavor profile that is both creamy and satisfying. Topped with a luscious coconut glaze, the cake not only looks inviting but also enhances the overall coconut experience.

The reason why I named this “catch a husband cake” is because of the looks of the cake! It’s white like a wedding dress! Check it out!

Simple, easy, and delicious! This amazing cake is pretty simple to make. I made this cake on my marriage anniversary, it was magnificent!

It was a very, very dense, very moist, and rich poundcake. The “icing” was a glaze, as it should be for a pound cake. Mine never “frimed” up like the pic. My family actually likes it, but then again, we love pound cakes. My 24-year-old daughter actually asked me to make it again. If I do, I would spend some time creaming the butter/sugar before slowly adding the flour and mixing it a while longer.
