Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
• 24 oz fresh blackberries
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
• 3 Tbsp cornstarch
• 3/4 cup water
For the Topping:
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp kosher salt
• 1/2 cup cold butter, grated or finely cubed
• 1/3 – 1/2 cup cold buttermilk

Instructions
1. Prepare the Filling
• Grease an 8-inch square baking dish
• In a large saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, and cinnamon
• Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil
• Mix cornstarch and water until smooth
• Stir cornstarch mixture into fruit
• Bring to a boil and cook for 2-5 minutes until thickened
• Pour into prepared baking dish
2. Make the Topping
• Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
• Cut in butter using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
• Stir in buttermilk just until moistened
• Drop topping by tablespoonfuls over hot berry mixture
3. Bake
• Preheat oven to 375°F
• Bake for 45-55 minutes until topping is golden brown
• Let cool slightly
Serving Suggestion: Serve warm with vanilla ice cream

Cook Time: 55 minutes
