Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

2 cups gluten-free flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mash the bananas. Add the sugar and softened butter, and mix until smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the banana mixture. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Frosting: In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Frost the Cake: Once the cake is cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
